A limited edition of the Hyundai Genesis Coupe is headed for Europe, according to Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf. The 1,000 units in the European production run will have a price of about €25,000.

Hyundai Product Marketing manager Rafael Agullo says that although the company will not make a profit on the vehicles sold in Europe Hyundai believes having a Genesis Coupe presence in Europe is good for their image.

"We choose a fixed number with a fixed price. In Germany the car costs 25,000 euros, which is significantly less than the 38,000 euro cost Nissan 350Z," he told the newspaper.

It also appears that all thousand units will have the base, more fuel efficient engine. That engine is a 210 horsepower 2.0-liter turbocharged four cylinder. When using that engine, the Genesis Coupe gets 21 mpg in the city, and 30 mpg on the highway. The car is also sold in the United States with a 310 hp 3.8-liter V6. With this engine it gets 17/26 mpg.

We're not sure just yet when the car will go on sale in Europe. Since it will be sold in the EU, we would not be surprised to see the 2010 Hyundai Genesis Coupe at the Geneva Motor Show.

Trochę odpustowy znaczek i atrapa, ale ogólnie OK. Wada jest taka, że o ile przy coupe (Genesis) można iść we właściwości jezdne itp, to jednak w klasie limuzyn słaby prestiż Hujdaja mocno przeszkadza.

Wombat to pewnie nawet by tego nie wsiadł, bo wstyd wink.gif

W "24h Redemption" Hyundai podrzucił auta do filmu, a jedna z postaci jeździ właśnie takim srebrnym Equusem. Prezentuje się fajnie, w pierwszej chwili, jak kamera dość szybko najechała na auto od przodu pomyślałem, że to nowy Lexus.
